Escape Characters

An escape character allows use of characters that otherwise would be impossible to use in a string.

>>> spam = 'Say hi to Bob\'s mother.'
>>> spam
"Say hi to Bob's mother."

\" Double quote
\t Tab
\n Newline (line break)
\\ Backslash

Hello there!
